A worked scenario

The call before the cost.

The program makes new hires commit while the information is incomplete, then reviews how they used the evidence that was available.

See the full program

Built by freight operators. A decade inside brokerage, dispatch, driver management, permitting, oversized and heavy haul, agency ownership, and terminal leadership. Not a course company. A freight company that trains judgment.

What they actually do

Four weeks. Real decisions. Human-reviewed work.

Not videos and a quiz. Your hire works through freight situations with incomplete information and a clock, commits to a decision before they know the outcome, and gets it reviewed.

01

Human-reviewed work

Human review of major work products, Freight Desk decisions and material risk exposures, plus a written manager debrief.

02

Freight Desk day

A full simulated shift. Information arrives late, one request never comes back, a carrier books elsewhere if they sit on it, and a truck shows up under a different name than the one on the rate confirmation.

03

Freight Desk week

Five shifts across one territory. The desk moves overnight based on what they decided the day before. One account is designed to die from neglect rather than from a wrong call.

04

Written debrief

You get a written read on each person at the end: where their judgment holds up, where it doesn't, and what to work on with them.

This supports training and coaching. It is not a hiring, promotion or selection instrument.

The Freight Decision Framework

Five decision domains.

Five places a new broker can lose you money. The program works each one until the questions come automatically: what do I actually know, what am I assuming, what has to be checked before I commit, and what does this next move cost me if I'm wrong?

01 / Customer

Know what you can't miss

What the customer actually needs protected, who decides it on their side, and what a broken promise costs you.

02 / Pricing

Price what you actually know

Test the lane before the parts you guessed at turn into a margin you don't have.

03 / Carrier

Check before you commit

Authority, identity, fit, location and history, fast enough to still cover the load.

04 / Execution

Stay ahead of the next problem

Notice when a load starts going wrong before the customer does, set your own check-in times, and keep everyone working off the same information.

05 / Exception

Recover without giving away the account

Get service back, keep the record straight, tell the customer what's true, and find out what actually failed.

This Load Made Money. It Was Still a Bad Decision.

A completed load, a profitable result, and a decision process that still carried avoidable exposure.

The $350 Load: How Freight Broker Gross Profit Really Works

Intake

Six seats. One October cohort.

The first cohort starts October 13 and is 6 seats total, filled from one or two brokerages.

$1,200 per seat. The initial standard Manager-Reviewed Seat price is $1,995.

Founding seats carry two conditions: a named reference if the program earns it, and thirty minutes at the end to tell us what did not work.

If we're not a fit, we'll say so.

Every other Thursday
